I'm a wedding photographer working in and around the Seattle area. Photography is a fantastic profession, and being able to be so involved in the most important day in the lives of so many couples is truly a blessing. My own style is highly influenced by photojournalistic school of wedding photography. At every wedding, I strive to capture emotion and tell the story of the day.
My mother was a professional photographer, so I guess it runs in the genes. She died of cancer when I was 3 years old, however, and I never explored my artistic side...until one day I found myself bored with school. I picked up a camera and began to shoot. I loved it. Not only did it provide a way for me to connect with the mother I never knew, it tapped into a passion I didn't know I had. I've since come so far as a photographer, meeting lots of great people along the way.

What can I say? This could be my last wedding ever, for my old friend Neil and my new friend Tess, and it looks like I could be going out with a bang.
I traveled all the way to Wisconsin to photograph this wedding, and was overwhelmed by the beauty of the fall out there. The ceremony and many of the photos were taken at and around Holy Hill basilica, which just may be the most beautiful church I have ever photographed for a wedding.

I ventured out to Spokane once again for Afra and Chris’ traditional Catholic wedding at St. Francis Xavier parish inside the city. I’m super-Catholic and was stoked to see five priests concelebrating Mass. Beautiful liturgy, music, the whole bit.
Afra chose the Davenport hotel for her reception, which is an amazing and gorgeous venue. It would have been hard *not* to take amazing photos at this wedding! Check it out below…
Here’s a few of my favorites….
On Saturday I had the great privledge of photographing my cousin Jennifer’s wedding in St. Augustine, Florida. Since I have an awesome family that can pack the dance floor, that part of the pictures was pretty easy. The wedding location was beautiful, from the getting ready hotel room, to the amazing Cathedral basilica, to the reception at the hotel. The images speak for themselves, but I can’t tell you how happy I am that I was able to capture these for my cousin…

Cate and Michael tied the knot at Sacred Heart church and had their reception at the Edgewater, a cool, swanky place and one of my favorite reception sites in Seattle.
I was touched by how Cate and Michael interacted, they seemed so perfect for each other. One of the Edgewater staff that had worked with them told me how highly he thought of them both, which I’m sure means a lot, given that they work with so many couples.
