Lauren and John | Wedding Photography | Slideshow

I had a great time in Bellingham, and put together a slideshow of the images. I am always very happy with how many great shots I get from start to finish at weddings, and I like to show that off a little….enjoy the slideshow….

I had a great time covering Lauren and John’s wedding this Saturday. We started shooting at 7:30 am with getting ready pictures and kept going for quite a while, getting a ton of great dancing shots. There were so many fantastic photos, way too many for the blog, but enjoy a couple that I’ve posted below:

Lindsey and Andrew | Wedding Photography Slideshow

I am happy to have added a new piece of software which will allow me to include slideshows on the blog. Most likely I will only be able to do this every once in a while, but I’m posting the show from Lindsey and Andrew’s wedding and in a couple of days I’ll get the one from Jenna and Lou’s wedding up. Enjoy!

As the father of the groom put it, “the second part of a double header”. Jenna and Lou were really fun, and clearly deeply in love. Enjoy the photos:

For this picture, I placed the cuff links on a glass table. A window from behind reflected off of the glass, creating a lovely natural vignette. Aside from a black and white conversion, almost no photoshopping was done to this image:

I used a wide angle lens for the groom and best man shot to make them look big:

This weekend took me to Assumption parish in Bellingham, where I shot two weddings back to back. (The grooms are brothers and they both hired me!). It was great fun and I absolutely love the images from both weddings.

I’m starting a new practice here on the blog where I explain how I got a few of the shots. Hopefully, it will provide some tips for budding photographers and help show how truly involved the work is to get these images that I post here.

For this shot I turned off all of the lights in the room and opened a door leading outside, just to Andrew’s right, to create a soft, flattering light source:

If you haven’t noticed, I love mirrors:

This image was actually taken by my second shooter, nice work, Brett.

I captured this with the help of one of my newer toys, an off-camera flash:

Cory and Athena | Wedding Photography | Bellingham

I had the distinct pleasure of attending the wedding of my friends Cory and Athena as both a guest and photographer. The day went very well, and I know they’ll have a wonderful marriage! Congratulations Cory and Athena!

Now, onto the photography…
